Ben is licensed by the U.S. Treasury and is an Enrolled Agent certified to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. What does this mean for you?
Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to strict ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.
Enrolled agents, like attorneys and Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), have unlimited practice rights. This means they are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and before which IRS offices they can represent clients.
Learn more about enrolled agents in Treasury Department Circular 230 (PDF).
Ben’s success with his clients is due to his dedication and ability to discuss complicated tax issues with them in plain language. He is committed to ensuring they receive the best service possible and identifying and applying all legal tax deductions allowed.
He has 10 years of prior experience with Bank of America as a Senior Financial Analyst, and was a Tax supervisor for Reputed corporations. Ben has a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor Degree in Arts from Columbia College in Chicago. Ben is also a member of National Association of Enrolled Agents.
